Our role is to be a companion on the road for technology teams to be able to use as a tool at times when decisions need to be made.
We now have an amazing opportunity for a Building Management Systems Engineer to join our growing team and work on site with our blue-chip multinational clients within the pharmaceutical industry. This role is based out of one of our client sites in Limerick.
Your responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:
* Involved in system design for clients from concept stage.
* Participate in the development of automated system life cycle documents to meet business requirements in the support of automated systems (i.e. Validation, standard operating procedures).
* Support and programming for PLC’s (Rockwell/Allen Bradley Logix 5000/500 and Studio 5000), motion control and PC controlled equipment.
* Programming and implementation of changes to the process automation code and systems hardware.
* Provide automation support to production, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
* Interact closely with other engineers to discuss current projects, requirements, potential issues and solutions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and PC controlled systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in Rockwell/Allen Bradley Logix 5000/500 and/or Studio 5000.
* Experience in coding, development, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
* Good knowledge of manufacturing automation, machine design, development, and validation process.
* Experience working within a GMP environment is a must.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently is essential.
* A full valid Irish work permit is required for this role as it is an immediate start.
