We're currently seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our client's team in Galway. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our staff, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
4. Assist with user account management in Active Directory and Office 365.
5. Keep up-to-date with technology trends and best practices.
Requirements:
6. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
7. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
8. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications.
9. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
