Stockroom Manager
We are working with a retail client to source and appoint an experienced Stockroom Manager in Letterkenny. They have been established for over a decade, are Irish Owned and operated, and stock popular brands.
Role and Responsibilities
* To deal with deliveries daily, maintaining order and tidiness, avoiding damage and preventing stock loss.
* To receive, confirm, open boxes, and organise merchandise every day according to stockroom guidelines.
* Organising stock in the stockroom and using initiative to improve ways of managing stock.
* To provide support to colleagues on the store floor, helping with replenishment and making additional orders when necessary.
* To be able to deal with individual store requests quickly and efficiently.
* To be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy stockroom.
* Picking and packing of online orders, ensuring the item passes quality control before packaging professionally and sending with a designated courier.
* To be a key player in regular stock takes.
The Ideal Candidate
A team player who is highly motivated and organised, with excellent communication skills and experience in a warehouse environment.
* MUST be highly organised, tidy, and able to work well under pressure.
* Have the ability to move boxes and equipment frequently.
* Have basic computer skills.
* Be able to delegate and give instructions to other team members.
* Should have a good attitude and be able to work on your own initiative.
* Be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
* Should be flexible and be able to work weekdays, weekends, early mornings & late evenings.
