We are currently recruiting for a Buffet Supervisor to join our Fahrenheit Restaurant team at Dublin’s Leading Castle Hotel.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Restaurant Managers, the Buffet Supervisor will carry out duties ensuring the day-to-day operations are carried out in line with department and Hotel standards. To always provide 100% quality service to guests such as ensuring the smooth & efficient running of breakfast, ensuring standards & guest satisfaction are maintained at all times.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* To strive at all times to exceed the expectations of all customers within the hotel and to do so in a pleasant and efficient manner in accordance with the established standards in the hotel.
* To adhere to all Health & Safety, Hygiene Procedures.
* To always ensure a high level of food safety & hygiene standards are adhered to during setup & throughout service.
* To ensure buffet is set up properly with all food items, beverages & condiments.
* To monitor food quality & presentation, ensuring everything is fresh & replenished in a timely manner.
* To provide training & guidance on buffet set up, food handling & customer service.
* Ensure all food items are appropriately labelled & stored.
* Regularly check food temperature & quality to ensure it meets safety standards.
* To work a flexible shift pattern and rotate through the various areas of your department as required.
* To be familiar with and adhere to all areas outlined in the Team Handbook.
Requirements:
* Experience in working in previous 4/5* Star Hotel as a Buffet Supervisor
* Willingness to learn.
* Attention to detail.
