What's the Role: Team Leader
What It Takes:
An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.
The ability to be resilient, communicate effectively, and utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.
We provide comprehensive training that all employees complete before taking up their new career within Praxis which will last for 2 weeks and cover all of the information and training you will need.
Where You Would Work: Easkey, Co. Sligo
Our Easkey scheme is a small residential scheme caring for 4 ladies in their 60's.
We are an intellectual disabilities and nonverbal but definitely more on the elderly care side.
Personal care is a massive part of our day, as is assisted dressing, feeding, and incontinence care.
Our ladies rely on staff for all aspects of daily living.
Staff do the cleaning, cooking, appointments, activities, administration work during night shift when service users are in bed or via an office day if required.

Salary Details:
€35,069 - €46,541 per annum *Salary based on 39 hours per week. Salary dependent on qualification/experience. When the role requires sleep-in duties a minimum additional payment of €90.40 per night applies.
