The overall Group spans 9 European countries and employs over 850 people.What they’re looking for:They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Case Manager. This role is a permanent position based in Galway. You will be reporting to a Portfolio Manager within the management team. The successful candidate will review case strategies and ensure credit recommendations are in line with regulatory codes to support borrowers in difficulty. The candidate will oversee the management of a portfolio of customers across Personal, SME, Corporate and Property Sectors, working both on their own initiative and collaboratively as part of a wider team to provide appropriate support in the management of the portfolio.The role will afford the opportunity to individuals to gain restructuring experience as well as enhancing their people, credit, regulatory and relationship management skills.Responsibilities:Managing inbound correspondenceAttending project calls and operational meetings for purpose of reviews and other ad hoc mattersMeeting and negotiating with borrowers in relation to debt settlement arrangementsProviding support to the wider team as requiredConnection level case managementMeeting and engaging with customers with effective management to progress objectivesCredit analysis, decision making, credit submissions and decision implementationProactive management of customers in line with agreed exit strategy at loan level, including litigationAction CRM system appropriately to ensure accounts are at the correct statusWork closely with other members of the RM teamSubmit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurateKey Requirements:Qualified Financial AdvisorA bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)5 years minimum experience in commercial debt management, restructuring or workoutStrong negotiation skillsCommercial Relationship management experience essentialAbility to analyse company profit & loss statements and balance sheetConfidence to assume responsibility and initiativeExcellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, dashboards, data manipulation)Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint skills (presentation of financial results to clients / board of directors)Excellent, in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the CCMA, CPC, SME and how to apply these through interactions with our customersFull driving license, with access to a vehicle for work purposesWhat they offer you?Flexible working options - Hybrid Working22 days annual leave increasing to 25 days plus additional company leave daysCompany matched pensionLife assuranceEAP ServiceFamily Leave PoliciesTraining opportunities (in-house training, certification/exam support)Professional membership feesCycle to work schemeBonus schemeSocial eventsFor more information on this role, please contact Ciara on#LI-CN1
