In this role you will be responsible for co-ordinating maintenance of the factory building and its surrounding premises, production plant service including preventive maintenance and upgrading of facility equipment and electrical services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the point of contact for vendors, contractors, and sales representatives for plant and facilities works.
2. Seek quotations and oversee any contract works with external vendors.
3. Liaise with in-house cleaning contractor to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.
4. Ensure all site and grounds maintenance is completed in line with contract and site expectations.
5. Maintain and present records on all facilities related tasks to meet auditing requirements.
6. Co-ordinate all site facility activity in conjunction with the EHS department standards.
7. Participate / Lead / Own MMCR, CAPA, PCF, NCE as required to meet QA/Ops site requirements.
8. Oversee all key critical plant equipment and third-party inspections.
9. Maintain and oversee all canteen and office equipment.
10. Monitor and maintain cleanrooms and associated building management systems.
11. Identify non-compliance events and take appropriate actions to ensure site cleanroom compliance.
12. Plan and ensure all facilities works are compliant with specifications and safety standards.
13. Support the Operations and Engineering Manager with day-to-day activities.
14. Drive continuous improvement in facilities operations.
15. Day-to-day maintenance of the facility, including breakdown response and repairs.
16. Manage environmental monitoring and pest control.
17. Meet all FM Global program requirements.
Interested applicants should have:
1. At least 5 years’ experience in facilities or related role.
2. In-depth knowledge of plant systems.
3. Experience with a preventative maintenance system.
4. Systematic troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
5. Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
6. Experience with compressed air, air handling, fire prevention, building management, and industrial water systems.
7. Ability to read P&ID's/schematics.
