A leading global alternative investment manager seeks two Risk Consultants to join their second-line risk team. These Risk Consultant opportunities would suit ambitious and proactive candidates with experience in operational, enterprise, fund, or investment risk. The initial employment will be on a 12-month contract basis with a view to being made permanent. These are Dublin-based hybrid opportunities, offering a competitive salary, 25 days holidays and excellent career progression.
Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance & Implementation – Interpret and implement evolving European regulations (DORA, AIFMD 2, AI Act, ESG, Corporate Climate & Environmental Risk).
2. Operational & IT Resilience – Develop and implement resilience frameworks in line with European (DORA) and CBI regulatory guidance.
3. Outsourcing Framework Management – Oversee outsourcing compliance, annual reviews, risk assessments, and due diligence updates.
4. Regulatory & Risk Reporting – Oversight of regulatory reporting, EMIR framework enhancements, and governance improvements.
5. Investment & Operational Risk Oversight – Conduct investment risk analysis, stress testing, liquidity monitoring, and operational risk reviews.
6. Governance & Board Support – Prepare reports and materials for risk committees and boards on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:
1. Experience & Expertise – Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant risk role (operational, enterprise, fund, or investment risk).
2. Regulatory Knowledge – Strong understanding of European regulations (DORA, AIFMD 2, ESG, EMIR, etc.) and their implementation.
3. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to assess risk frameworks, conduct detailed analysis, and provide insightful recommendations.
4. Organisational & Project Management Skills – Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and regulatory requirements.
5. Attention to Detail & Communication – Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
