Overall Purpose of the Job
The Soft Services Lead is responsible for co-ordinating the day-to-day operation on site, managing maintenance, caretaking, cleaning and catering departments, as well as liaising with clients on operational matters.
Main duties and Responsibilities
* Achieve financial objectives for the soft services element account through accurate accounting, billing, and cost trending.
* Manage cost control to reduce costs and meet contractual targets.
* Promote high-quality service delivery and customer support to meet company standards.
* Lead a team of operatives, overseeing hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and development.
* Maximise efficiencies while maintaining a quality service across the soft services portfolio.
* Ensure safe working environments and facilitate subcontractors' activities without disrupting business operations.
* Oversee all aspects of the portfolio, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
* Establish and manage quality measures, facilitating two-way communication and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate training requirements to ensure staff are fully trained in service provision.
* Maintain adherence to HR policies and procedures within the team.
* Prepare monthly reports for contracted services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience working in a regulated client environment.
* Business management experience.
* Knowledge of cleaning/security functions is essential.
* Candidate must hold a third-level qualification or trade qualification equivalent.
* Membership in a relevant professional organisation is required.
* PSA accreditation is necessary.
* Familiarity with financial and budgetary processes is crucial.
* Project management experience is desirable.
* A full clean driving licence is mandatory for this role.

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30, Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
