Role Overview
As an Engineering intern at WuXi Biologics, you will have the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge gained through your university studies to a real-life working environment, gaining hands-on experience with process modelling, equipment design, process fit, data analysis, and innovative technologies in the biologics industry.
You will be responsible for managing your own projects and collaborating with experienced professionals as part of our dynamic team of engineers and scientists.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a safety-oriented culture and cGMP-compliant work environment at all times.
* Assist in writing, reviewing, and revising area SOPs, Training Competencies, and Work Instructions as directed.
* Support members of the AIS, PEV, Plant Engineering, or Utilities teams where applicable.
* Participate actively in project teams and assist in delivering projects.
* Immediately notify the Area Supervisor or Team Leader of any deviations from SOPs and/or standard production processes.
Requirements
* Pursuing a third-level undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline, such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Plant Engineering.
* No previous experience required, but demonstrated ability to work in teams through university/college activities.
* Knowledge and understanding of biopharmaceutical processes.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* A flexible attitude and positive mindset.
* A desire to be part of a successful team and innovative environment.
