Our client is a building and civils contractor working on civil projects in Kildare.
Duties will include:
1. Assisting the QS with quantities and project progress.
2. Attending site meetings with the construction and design teams.
3. Reporting progress on site to senior management.
4. Supporting the senior site engineer and project manager with day to day running of the project.
5. Acting under the senior engineer as a technical advisor on site for specialist subcontractors.
6. Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
7. Checking plans, drawings and setting out coordination.
8. Overseeing quality control and the implementation of the company’s health and safety policy on site.
9. Preparing reports as required for senior site manager and project manager.
10. Having a proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Requirements
1. A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
2. Min 3 years relevant site engineering experience.
3. Experience in setting out, using GPS systems, Total Stations, and proficiency with AutoCad software.
4. General day to day running of paperwork on a site, including Method Statements and Risk Assessments preparation.
5. Clean Driving license.
