**Site Manager Position**
Main Purpose of the Role:
To manage a site workforce in a safe and diligent manner, to the highest possible standard, on time and in line with the Programme, specification and design information provided.
Responsibilities:
* Overseeing construction operations on a designated site.
* Ensuring that work complies with building regulations.
* Working with an appointed safety manager to ensure all safety regulations are being adhered to.
* Coordinating day-to-day site activities and nominated sub-contractors.
* Liaising with Head office to ensure materials and labour are requested to site when required.
* Carrying out daily & weekly safety checks and ensuring appointed sub-contractors are adhering to safety protocol.
* Monitoring the construction programme and enabling the subcontractors to carry out their works in accordance with their contract programme.
* Ensuring quality checks are carried out at various stages of the build & ensuring QA checks are being carried out.
* Liaising with Local authority representatives and assigned certifiers to obtain handover of completed phases.
* Dealing with any day-to-day issues which could hold up work as they arise.
* Liaising closely with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyors regarding budgets.
* Working closely with junior staff, Sub Contractors, engineers, and external utility companies.
* Updating and reporting back to head office regularly on progress.
* Liaising with clients and keeping them updated on progress and upcoming milestones.
* Embracing digital technology & Modern Methods of Construction systems used by company.
* Organizing and liaising with the factory to schedule deliveries.
