Head of Engineering
The Head of Engineering is a newly created appointment responsible for all engineering functions across European operations.
This role drives engineering excellence by leading a high-performing team, managing projects, and overseeing capital expenditure to deliver transformation and value engineering initiatives.
Key responsibilities include ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational efficiencies, and company standards. This involves championing continuous improvement, evaluating new automation technologies, machinery, infrastructure, and production methods.
The Head of Engineering will also foster cross-functional leadership with production, quality, procurement, and supply chain teams. They will deliver value engineering initiatives to improve product quality, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturing processes.
This role requires a strong track record of leading engineering projects, CAPEX management, and implementing lean manufacturing and automation initiatives. The successful candidate will possess skills in value engineering, manufacturing engineering, testing, and compliance processes.
They should have excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) is required. A Master's degree or MBA is desirable but not essential.
