Main Purpose of Job:
We are currently recruiting for a Yard Controller to join the Connolly Motor Group within the Valet team on site Hyundai Oranmore.
The role:
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the team to continuously deliver the highest level of satisfaction to internal and external customers. You will be responsible for managing the upkeep and presentation of the site. This will require you to continually strive to ensure the appropriate sales and service vehicles are in a first-class condition. You will also ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is continually attained, completing the work on time.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Manage and present the site and vehicles to a high standard as directed by the Service and General Manager
2. Prepares new and used vehicles for display/collection
3. Ensure all cars are washed and vacuumed thoroughly before being returned to the customer
4. Inspect the valeting bay on a regular basis and ensure work area is swept daily and kept clean and free from obstructions
5. Processes appropriate dealership paperwork to ensure that the vehicle is correctly and fully prepared on time
6. Drive in a safe and courteous manner at all times
7. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations
8. Completes any other appropriate activities as specified by the Manager including all ad hoc driving duties
9. Ensure general housekeeping and site maintenance

1. Valeting experience is required
2. Ability to work in a team
3. Ability to work on own initiative
4. Full drivers license is essential
5. Interested in working in a fast-paced environment
6. Attention to detail is fundamental to ensure quality is consistently delivered
7. Continuous improvement mindset
8. Be flexible in order to cater for changing business requirements
9. Undertake demanding physical work in a variety of weather conditions
