Your ChallengeWe have a vacancy for a Senior ITS Technician to join our team in Dublin.
As the Senior ITS Technician, you will install and maintain ITS equipment.
Some Key ResponsibilitiesDay to day management and commissioning of small projectsCompetently liaise with both customers & supervisorsContract administration example: timesheets and job numbers, stock requisitions, vehicle mileage formsThrough knowledge of company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and methodologies.
Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and PPE in a serviceable conditionGuidance, training, sharing of job-specific knowledge and experience, and provide support to all colleagues as requiredComplete routine inspections on ITS equipmentResponding to faults and emergencies within contractual timescales (KPI's) and undertake activities as assigned by and in support of the contract supervisorEnsure accuracy of fault data recorded on Fault Management SystemEnsure new project work installations are of a high standard and safe working practices are followed whilst working on siteCommissioning of equipment, Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and responsibility for handover to clientProvide technical support to customersCompetently liaise with both customer & supervisor to discuss problems, issues, programme etc.
Problem solving and technical advice to customersAttend ad hoc meetings with customersTo be aware of individual contract requirements & ensure that any project paperwork is accurate and returned in a timely manner,Your ProfileIn order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:
EssentialDepartment of Education Leaving CertificateExperience in similar role or within the traffic industry.
