Finance Assistant – Law Firm
Description:
I am delighted to be retained by an international Legal Firm in Dublin who are seeking to speak with Finance Assistants, in particular people that are early in their career and would like to join a good team where they will gain exposure to a number of industries. Ideally, the successful candidate will have a relevant Finance degree and ideally a year of commercial experience or placement year in a legal firm or professional services environment. This position will be a key hire in to a team of three people.

The Role:
Assisting the Finance Manager and global finance team with various accounting and administrative tasks
Producing accurate and timely monthly reports
Reviewing outputs from Accounts Payable, Banking and Accounts receivable
Helping to improve processes for the Finance Team
Supporting with cashiering and accounts receivable
Analyse various pieces of data and advising on process improvements
The Person:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field
Good track record of system expertise and process improvements
Advanced MS Excel skills
Ability to handle a high volume of work, demonstrating excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
Aptitude for building relationships, influencing upwards and laterally, taking ownership of tasks, and keeping colleagues informed of progress.
High level of commercial acumen
Experience with data protection or corporate governance is advantageous but not essential
