This growing group comprised of a mix of luxury accommodation properties and dining venues is currently recruiting an experienced Group Director of Sales to lead all sales efforts and execute the overall group strategy. With further plans for expansion over the next couple years, this is a truly exciting time to join the Group and help guide its growth. Key Objectives: Manage key accounts for the brand with strong focus on the luxury leisure and high-end MICE and Corporate Segments.Understand revenue management functions and account profitability, driving rates across hotel group.Establish and work closely with Sales Manager on each site, ensuring all processes are integrated.Sustain and grow revenues across all products in line with revenue targets.Construct and implement a key account plan for all priority accounts.Train reactive team to research, generate, qualify and follow up leads.Reach pre-agreed activity and revenue targets. Motivate the wider team to achieve the best results possible in their roles.Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process.Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.Attend weekly sales meeting and monitor weekly reports.Develop strong partnerships with organisations local to the properties to further increase brand/product awareness.Serve as an authority on sales processes and sales contracting. The ideal candidate: Minimum of three years’ experience as Director of Sales / DOSM in a luxury five star property in the Irish marketDeep account management experience (luxury and MICE in particular) and proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growthProfessional sales training a strong advantageSelf-starter with excellent prioritisation skills, able to manage and drive own workload and scheduleAbility to interpret market data to identify opportunities and apply to sales strategyEffective coaching, mentoring and development skillsStrong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teamsStrong problem-solving and conflict management skillsOutstanding presentation and platform skills and ability to influence othersAbility to use standard software applicationsFull drivers licence and own transport This role is available on a remote basis, bonus and pension included in salary package.
