Job Title: Temporary Grants Administration Supervisor
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Temporary Grants Administration Supervisor to oversee and manage grant administration processes, ensuring compliance and effective coordination across multiple stakeholders. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working arrangements.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end administration and processing of grant activities.
o Support partners and ensure adherence to grant draw-down and payment schedules.
o Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth grant operations.
o Process sales and purchase invoices and manage grant funding payments.
o Prepare and submit grant claims and payment files.
o Generate grant reports, analyses, and reconciliations.
* Act as the main point of contact for relevant stakeholders, including auditors and funding bodies.
* Oversee and support month-end processes related to grants.
* Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with audit standards.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and the annual budgeting process.
* Contribute to process improvement projects, including finance system enhancements and automation.
* Provide mentorship and management for team members when required.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in grants management, finance, or compliance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
* Strong financial management and audit process knowledge.
* Proficiency in managing financial controls and ensuring compliance.
* Proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
* Experience in report writing, presenting, and translating financial data into clear communications.
* Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Public sector experience.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* High-level interpersonal and communication abilities, including public speaking.
Educational Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in finance, business, or a related field is highly desirable.
