The role involves contributing to the development of short, medium, and long-term objectives while supporting the site Head of Operations and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory health and safety obligations. The position focuses on fostering a safe workplace environment, free from health risks, and involves developing, implementing, and ensuring adherence to health and safety risk control standards, policies, procedures, and programs across the organization.Monthly Salary Range: €55.000 - €60.000 per yearResponsible for the completion and regular review of risk assessments and implementation of findings where appropriateEnsure that all incidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented. Responsible for the H&S logs and Corrective action tracking. Support and co-ordinate adverse event reporting.Provide subject matter expertise to the organisation on various H&S related topics.Co-ordinate and support internal and external H&S audits as appropriate.NEBOSH Cert Minimum / NEBOSH Diploma preferable or equivalent.Experience in Occupational Health and Safety.A minimum of two years’ experience working in a heavy industry or food manufacturing environmentExcellent attention to detail, technical writing skills and good working knowledge of MS Office.Working knowledge of factors impacting on health and well-being and of H&S regulatory compliance including auditingCompetitive ratesCanteenOn-site parking
