Overall Purpose of the Role:
The Stock Audit Supervisor will be responsible for stock accuracy on our ERP system (K8) at our main warehouse and ensuring that every item on-site is counted at least twice per annum. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent attention to detail.
A major part of the role is communicating with the sales teams and directly with customers as to the status of their orders. Proactively informing the business/customers of the delivery plan and any delays or issues.
You will be pivotal in improving our processes and service offering including being a major part of implementing DMS (Delivery Management System).
The ideal candidate will ensure conformance to existing processes and ongoing improvement of these processes in conjunction with the purchasing, supply chain and warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all stock locations are up-to-date on K8 and labelled to the agreed standard.
* Work with the Operations Manager and Warehouse Supervisors to ensure that all warehouse areas are organised such that products are easily found.
* Organise and execute daily cycle counts to ensure the ongoing accuracy of K8.
* Ongoing documentation and improvement of all processes that impact stock.
* Communicate any issues that may adversely affect inventory integrity to relevant managers/purchasing team.
* Investigate stock discrepancies as advised by warehouse staff.
* Spot-checking of goods inwards, returns and goods out.
* Assist in the continual improvement of the performance of the branch with the warehouse team.
* Processing of inbound and outbound paperwork.
* Processing of customer and supplier returns.
* Manage warranty product handling process.
* Support the roll-out of best practice in all branches.
* Adhere to health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
* Any other duties as reasonably requested by management.
The Person:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Proactive and willing to execute improvements while showing initiative.
* Knowledge of a Warehouse Management System would be an advantage.
* Six Sigma white belt training is desirable.
