Senior Physiotherapist Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our Primary Care Team in Limerick.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments and interventions for a diverse caseload of adult patients in a primary care setting.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to promote mobility, pain management, and functional independence.
* Collaborate with GPs, nurses, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, patient-centered care.
* Educate and empower patients to self-manage their conditions through rehabilitation programs and preventative strategies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with HSE policies.
* Participate in service development initiatives, audits, and quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
* A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and full CORU registration.
* A minimum of three years post-qualification experience, ideally in a primary care or community healthcare setting.
* Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience working with a diverse patient population, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic conditions, is desirable.
