We are currently looking for a Stock and Ordering Specialist to join our team in our award-winning business in Bray, Ireland. This position is based onsite.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Purchase orders: Creating, reviewing and processing purchase orders to enable timely delivery of raw materials and consumables.
2. Goods in process: Receiving, inspecting and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, ensuring they are labelled, stored safely and accurately added to our ERP system (SAGE).
3. Raw material & consumable stock management: Monitoring inventory levels to replenish stock as required to prevent shortages, coordinating with suppliers to ensure continuous availability of essential items while minimizing overstock.
4. Raw material & consumable requisitions: Fulfilling daily requisitions efficiently, communicating with staff about availability and timelines.
5. Raw material expiry management: Tracking and monitoring expiration dates, disposing of expired chemicals in compliance with regulations, coordinating with EHS officer to maintain safety and arrange collection.
6. Raw material usage tracker: Monitoring chemical usage, ensuring accurate data entry and issuing raw materials to relevant departments on our ERP system (SAGE).
7. Liaise with other departments: Setting timelines in agreement with key stakeholders and coordinating with other teams, ensuring that deliverables are achieved.
8. Working with & covering Stock & Packaging specialist.
9. Supervising processes within the Stock Department (including: packing campaigns and staff, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, etc.).
10. Generating standard stock reports (works orders, rotational stock checks, packing forms) as required and ensuring all records and reports are maintained to a high standard.
About you:
1. Previous experience in Stock/Inventory Management.
2. Previous experience in an expanding, fast paced environment.
3. Excellent knowledge of stock management processes.
4. Strong understanding of connections between different stock management processes within a company and ability to use them when solving issues.
5. Previous experience in using packing equipment (labellers, pumps, powder dispensing) with a level of semi automation and the ability to troubleshoot when needed.
6. Previous experience in using ERP systems (SAGE & SAP) and previous experience in a scientific setting with knowledge of dispensing metrics, cross contamination risks and labelling compliance a distinct advantage.
7. Excellent organisational, communications and IT skills.
