Vacancy: Site Manager : Mixed Resi Scheme
Location: Drogheda (3yr work)
Salary: €75K - €85K + vehicle + Pension + Discretionary Bonus

An opportunity has arisen for a confident, motivated and customer-focused Site Manager, who shows great leadership and decision-making skills to guide and inspire the site teams to deliver a top-class product.
The successful Site Manager will possess a time-served background or be degree qualified and have housing, hotel or student accommodation experience within main contractors/developers, working consecutively for at least 5 years.
Duties to include:
1. Liaising with:
2. Construction Director: week to week operations
3. Design Team and Client: co-ordination of project activities
4. Services Co-ordinator: services Sub-contractors co-ordination
5. Senior Engineer: engineering details and design
6. Purchasing Manager: material and plant requisitioning
7. Finishing Foreman: control of labour, plant and equipment on site
8. Senior Quantity Surveyor: cost issues and compiling the Variation Log and monitoring variations
9. Quality & Environmental: maintaining site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
10. Managing Sub-contractors, engineering and operational staff on site and supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project to a superior quality, completed on time, within budget, and implemented within the required safety, environmental and quality parameters.
11. Should possess strong commercial awareness and ability to deal with the whole financial and programmed planning elements of the project
12. Scheduling weekly Work programmes and reviewing weekly progress reports for the Master Construction Programme
13. Facilitating the flow of information between the Design Team and Construction Team
14. Supporting Communication between the Design Team and Sub-Contractors
15. Attending and chairing weekly Management Team Meetings
16. Maintaining site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
17. Managing and implementing the Safety Management System
18. Implementation of Daily and Weekly Programmes together with the issue of programme details to sub-contractors
Qualifications Required:
1. Trade Qualifications or a minimum of 5 years Site Management experience OR Engineering degree/Diploma or related discipline
2. Computer literate in Microsoft Office Package
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
4. Demonstrate a high degree of responsibility
