Hazel Mountain Chocolate just outside Kinvara, Co. Galway, is a leading European chocolate factory and visitor center, and we’re looking for a talented Chocolatier / Pastry Chef / Baker to join our team. Here, creativity is encouraged, and you’ll have the opportunity to bake with your own flair and imagination while mastering the art of truffle making.
What You’ll Do:
1. Bake our signature cakes and develop your own creative bakes.
2. Temper chocolate, make ganaches, and hand paint truffles.
3. Take part in the full chocolate making process in our open-floor factory.
4. Enjoy a hands-on role, working with cacao beans from roasting to chocolate creation.
5. Contribute to production targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A passionate Baker / Pastry Chef with experience in baking and pastry work.
2. A strong work ethic and willingness to roll up your sleeves and help with all tasks.
3. Someone proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to high standards.
4. Great communication skills – a team player who’s eager to learn and grow.
5. Positive, enthusiastic attitude and ownership of personal development.
