Job Title: Chef de Partie
The role of the Chef de Partie is to assist with the efficient operation of the kitchen service, producing high-quality products at a budgeted profit and ensuring all food hygiene regulations are followed.
To assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the Kitchen, maintaining all areas to the required standards. Coordinate and execute training of Commi Chefs and Apprentices. Maintain a safe, hygienic, and healthy working environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Check daily function sheets, complete mise-en-place, and order ingredients.
* Prepare and present food according to Company standards, as instructed by your Manager.
* Ensure correct portion control, as instructed by your Manager.
* Operate with a cost-effective approach, maintaining product quality.
* Purchase costs monitored and kept in line with budget.
* Maintain close working relationships with the Kitchen Team and other areas for a smooth and efficient service.
* Assist with menu designs that are popular, stylish, and sell well, as well as group menus that win business and meet client wishes.
* Keep equipment costs low, manage maintenance and service programs, and keep equipment properly cleaned and maintained.
* Carry out regular stock takes to ensure costs are controlled and all stocks are accounted for.
Food Quality:
* Assist with creating and testing dishes and products meeting Director approval.
* Evaluate consistency and reliability in serving food, maintaining appearance, portions, temperature, seasonings, ingredients, and presentation.
* Inspect fresh food received daily to ensure quality is maintained.
* Ensure speed and coordination of food preparation deliver food quickly, completely, and in the correct order.
* Be responsible for all food leaving the kitchen during the entire service (Presentation, Taste).
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a Hotel.
* Exceptional ability in a kitchen.
* Outstanding communication skills.
* Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.

Estimated salary range: €30,000 - €45,000 per year.
