Job Title
Were currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an award-winning Medical Device organization based in Roscommon.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardising and improving existing production processes and procedures.
* Assist Engineers in investigating and implementing new production methods.
* Assist Engineers in design methods, part sourcing and documentation.
* Design, specify, manufacture, test and document production equipment, changes and improvements.
* Interface with a variety of internal personnel and with outside vendors as necessary while performing the above.
* Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
* Communicate any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager.
* Calibrate equipment.
* Perform scheduled PMs.
* Change injection moulds as required.
* Implement process improvements Support projects as required.
* Ensure environmental impact of all operations is considered in relation to purchasing, waste management, recycling and energy.
* Conform to the requirements of the quality and environmental management system.
* Undertake ad hoc duties and projects as required.
Requirements:
* The ideal candidate should be a qualified fitter, toolmaker, and electrician or hold a mechatronic qualification.
* Previous experience of working in a dynamic cleanroom manufacturing environment preferably in the medical device area is desirable.
* Experience should include changeovers and troubleshooting on injection moulding, Multivac packaging, extrusion blow moulding, running automated lines a ultrasonic welding.
* Experience of completing maintenance tasks on a range of equipment.
* Strong team player, with the ability to work on own initiative
