Our client, a high-profile lessor, is seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory compliance and provide company secretarial support to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies across all operations.
* Design and maintain effective compliance policies, procedures, and risk management initiatives.
* Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on regulatory matters.
* Deliver engaging compliance training programs to all levels of the organization.
* Oversee compliance-related reporting and due diligence processes.
* Coordinate and document board, shareholder, and committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and related documentation.
* Develop and manage corporate governance policies, ensuring all records and filings are accurate and up-to-date.
* Support key transactions by managing necessary corporate documentation and filings.
Qualifications:
* A degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Professional certifications in compliance or governance.
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in a compliance or governance role, preferably within a regulated industry.
* Demonstrated ability to engage with senior leaders and manage complex processes.
