As part of this transformation, the company is implementing a new ERP system, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of the ERP implementation project across the company's multiple divisions.
The successful candidate will be hired on a 2-year contract and will work closely with an external ERP consultant to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Develop and manage the overall ERP project plan, ensuring clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and the ERP consultant.
Oversee all phases of the ERP implementation, from configuration to deployment and post-go-live support.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption to operations.
Serve as the primary liaison between the ERP consultant, internal business teams, IT, and external vendors.
Ensure strong collaboration between the ERP consultant, finance, supply chain, operations, and IT teams to align the system with business needs.
Facilitate regular updates, progress reports, and issue resolution meetings with stakeholders and the ERP consultant.
ERP System Implementation Work closely with the ERP consultant to oversee system configuration, integration, and testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or selected ERP).
Ensure smooth data migration, system validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Support process re-engineering and optimisation to maximize ERP system benefits.
Training & Change Management Develop and execute a change management strategy in collaboration with the ERP consultant to drive user adoption.
Work with internal teams and external consultants to deliver training and support materials for end-users.
Ensure employees are equipped to effectively use the new system post-implementation.
Oversee the transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operations post-go-live.
Work with the ERP consultant to establish KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives to maximise ERP efficiency and business value.
Ensure long-term system stability and scalability by coordinating with IT and business users.
Key Requirements Proven experience in managing large-scale ERP implementation projects, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working closely with ERP consultants and external vendors.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or other ERP systems) and its application in manufacturing operations.
Solid knowledge of business processes across finance, supply chain, production, and logistics.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical teams.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
