Securitas Security Services are currently recruiting a Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) Analyst to be based in our Client site in Galway.
Rate of pay is €18.00 per hour plus night shift allowance of €16.80 per shift and a Sunday allowance of €3.44 per hour.
**Must have the ability to work flexible & rotating shifts including weekends** Summary: Under direction of the Manager and Leads, Analysts will monitor enterprise-wide security alerts, providing security support, by identifying, analyzing, and responding to physical security incidents that could impact company assets or team members.
Analysts will appropriately communicate with management and leads in response to security alerts, critical event management, or emergency response.
Analysts will be expected to follow procedures, apply critical thinking, and respond and react quickly in a high paced environment.
Responsibilities: Proactively identify, assess, and report incidents that could potentially pose risks to assets or team members.
Receive and document global security-related incident communications using advanced case management software.
Perform vigilant monitoring of enterprise-wide physical security systems, encompassing access control, alarm monitoring, video surveillance, geospatial intelligence, travel tracking, and social media monitoring tools.
Efficiently dispatch and coordinate responses to security incidents utilizing various communication methods.
Maintain continuous asset monitoring and respond swiftly to incidents as needed.
Evaluate and disseminate incoming information and reports from security personnel, team members, suppliers, reporting parties and local agencies.
Monitor and manage the help ticket system related to security issues and incidents, escalating matters per established procedures.
Escalate critical events to management and relevant stakeholders while closely collaborating with SOC leadership.
Exhibit clear, concise, timely, accurate, and customer-focused verbal and written communication.
Prepare incident reports, situation reports, and notifications, disseminating them to the appropriate stakeholders as per internal procedures.
Identify opportunities for driving innovation and improvement by leveraging new technologies, capabilities, processes, and procedures.
