About the role
As a data analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations to the business. You will work closely with the data team to develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using Tableau.
Location: Shannon, County Clare, Ireland.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
* Developing and maintaining data models to support business reporting and analysis.
* Creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data and provide insights.
* Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
* Communicating findings and recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
* Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by performing data quality checks and validations.
* Staying up to date with the latest Tableau features and best practices.
Your skills
* At least 5 years of experience in financial services and data/Tableau experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in SQL and data modelling.
* Experience with Tableau Desktop and Server.
* Ability to create complex queries and visualizations in Tableau.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics)
* Strong English skills.
