Our client is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to oversee the provision of nationwide delivery to customers
The team consists of around 370 drivers, 200 vehicles, 40 sites across the country and growing.
The role is very demanding and the right candidate must have be very driven and able to work in a very fast paced environment!
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily planning and scheduling of deliveries across designated locations.
* Report and analyze KPI’S and operational metrics.
* Manage, motivate, and provide guidance to operations, maintenance, and customer service teams.
* Develop and support talent within the home delivery team.
* Maintain the highest levels of customer service
* Optimize staff and vehicle utilization
* Plan for adequate staffing
* Foster collaboration across all departments.
* Ensure completion of staff training.
* Oversee fleet management.
* Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards.
* Manage and strengthen supplier relationships.
* Oversee incident and insurance matters
