They will have a responsibility for assisting with the management and development of more junior colleagues.They will have a number of areas of technical excellence, participating in the research and development required to support the growth of these fields of expertise. They will be expected to adopt an account management mind-set, identifying client specific needs. They will be able to positively promote the EY strategy, services and values.They must be confident and credible in taking the lead in client interactions and in building market profile.They will work across a broad range of projects both as part of the assurance and business consulting practices. They will look to develop their EY network through working on multi-disciplinary projects across different service lines.To qualify for the role you must havePrevious experience in managing teams and delivering projectsDemonstrated ability in problem solving and managing multiple tasksExcellent communication skills, both in written and oral formatFocus on deadlines, discipline and process, yet flexible and pragmaticProfessional attitude and demeanorConfident dealing with clientsTechnical Skills:Qualified Actuary, with a minimum of 8 years PQE and over 10 years of total experience in non-life insurance/reinsurance or non-life consultancy, preferably with IFRS 17 or related experienceExcellent technical and analytical skillsNon-life actuarial software experience (e.g. RESQ, WinRes, Arius)Awareness of and interest in the challenges facing the non-life insurance industryIdeally, you’ll also havePrevious experience in at least two of the following areas:IFRS 17Solvency IICapital and Risk ManagementWhat working at EY offersWe offer a competitive remuneration package.
