What is the role?
As Legal Counsel you will work on the development of standard contract terms and implementation to all partners/service providers. As part of the Aerogen Legal Team, you will also support new business development and give oversight of compliance to organization policies, contracts and agreements.
What are the key responsibilities?
Successful candidate will work as part of a team and be expected to:
1. Support senior legal team members to provide pragmatic legal advice to senior business stakeholders on business critical legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
2. Review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial contracts working with internal stakeholders on contract negotiations, maintaining templates in line with company policy and applicable laws.
3. Support new business development and commercial arrangements with new and existing partners.
4. Draft and contribute to the development of legal policies, procedures and tools for the business, including contract management.
5. Develop, contribute to and maintain legal processes/registers; draft and contribute to development of templates and other solutions to scale legal support with the business.
6. Provide day to day legal support to all operational and support functions of the business, ensuring legal best practices are applied across new and existing processes, contracts and workflows throughout the business.
7. Interact with and support outside legal counsel as and when required.
What education and experience are required?
* Practicing Solicitor admitted to the Law Society of Ireland.
* 1-3 years post qualification experience.
What key skills will make you great at the role?
* A strong corporate/commercial background with experience in commercial law and commercial contracts.
* Experience in regulatory, ethics and compliance, while not essential, is an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated sound judgement and the ability to adapt and prioritise and work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, team environment.
* Must work effectively as part of a team and with senior management while also capable and comfortable working autonomously and on own initiative.
