Daffodil Care Services is hiring Full-time and Relief Social Care Workers for our mainstream services in Gorey, Co. Wexford.

Role:
As a Social Care Worker, you will be part of a team responsible for daily activities within the residential unit, collaborating closely with the Deputy Social Care Manager and Manager to create a warm, accepting, and secure environment for young people, delivering high-quality therapeutic residential services.
What we offer:
* Attractive starting salary for Full-time Social Care Workers: €39,567 - €42,895 per annum (depending on experience), including sleeping time and premiums
* Incremental salary scale
* Schedule: 2 x twenty-four-hour sleepover shifts per week, with flexibility for a combination of sleepover and 12-hour shifts based on service needs

Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum Level 7 qualification (degree) or higher in Social Care, Psychology (Level 8), Child & Adult Psychotherapy, Youth & Community, Teaching, Nursing, Social Science, or Counselling
* A full driving license
* Experience working with vulnerable young people and families in community or residential settings
OR
* Eligibility to register with CORU as a social care worker
Social Care Leaders: Minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and young people in social care settings.
