Your mission...
5. To surface the best content and conversations on a text-based social media platform, with a specific focus on algorithmically sourced trending topics.
6. Use your excellent editorial judgment, a strong command of social media, and a deep understanding of trending news and topics, as well as how they inform social conversations.
Your everyday...
7. Review a range of content and topics, including news and entertainment from a diverse set of users, publishers, broadcasters, public figures, creators and influencers.
8. Identify and contextualize cultural trends and current affairs across a broad spectrum of themes.
9. Apply review guidelines to content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency.
10. Use editorial skills to identify edge cases or guidelines questions, escalating open questions or potential misalignments.
11. Learn and use internal editorial tools and communications systems.
12. Oversee selection decisions and respond to questions regarding guidelines or edge cases.
13. Collaborate with our internal teams to improve user experience.
What you can contribute to our team...
14. Proven experience in social media, editorial, content creation, journalism or digital media.
15. Deep knowledge of the social media landscape, user-generated content and text-focused conversation platforms.
16. Experience with social discovery and/or social listening tools.
17. Skills in editorial strategy and understanding of what makes digital content engaging and relevant.
18. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong orthography and grammar skills.
Experience required...
19. Fluency in English (C2+ level)
20. A deep cultural understanding of socio-economic topics, and political awareness of the market of United States of America
21. Flexible in working in a faced paced environment with different projects to work on.
22. Degree/1+ years professional experience preferred.
23. Educational background – undergraduate university degree or higher qualification in mentioned domains above
Requirements:
24. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be fully confident in dealing with sensitive content.
25. Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland (EU passport / Stamp 4 / Stamp 1G for a minimum of 12 months or renewable).
What's in it for you?
26. Salary: €29, per year Additionally, for the Evening shift only: 25% salary uplift for the late hours after 10pm
27. Contract: Permanent full-time with Covalen Solutions
28. Working hours: Monday to Friday, weekends only in case of increased business needs.
29. Shifts: Candidates are choosing between Day shift (9am – 5:30pm) OR Afternoon shift (3pm – 11pm) or Night shift (12am - 7am).There are no rotations. The shift you choose will be your permanent shift.
30. Location: Work from home anywhere in Ireland after the training/onboarding period.Training from the office (approx. first two months of service) in Sandyford, Dublin 18, Ireland.Work from abroad is not an option.
