Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities
* Safe execution of electrical preventative maintenance in the field in line with site policies, procedures, and standards.
* Comply and participate with all aspects of site Health and Safety requirements, Risk Assessments, Safety Initiatives, and Safe Systems of Work.
* Complete a wide range of electrical and instrument maintenance tasks, including lighting, general services, process controls, and motive power systems along with DCS and PLC systems.
* Full interaction with the CMMS and Work Order System.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities.
* Ensure that maintenance is carried out in accordance with cGMP requirements and site Quality Standards.
Qualifications
3 years plus experience as a qualified Electrical Craftsperson, preferably in a similar production/manufacturing environment.
Instrumentation qualification and experience would be desirable.
Understanding of P&ID's and ability to read schematic drawings and loop sheets.
Knowledge of LV & MV switching and safe operating procedures.
Experience of working with ATEX electrical equipment and knowledge of instrumentation/calibration parameters.
