About the team
The Budget and Cost Management team sits within the Budget and Workforce team and is responsible for Global T&S Ops long-term cost decision frameworks, BPO Budget for Content moderation budget, and OPEX Optimisation strategies. The team ensures comprehensive financial management for T&S operations, and enhances efficiency through cost impact analysis and policy development. ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Budget and Cost Management team, your primary responsibility will be to manage the annual budget for our BPO workforce across Trust & Safety (T&S) Operations. You will be accountable for budget setting, budget adherence, and the timely & accurate submission of all PJ & PRs. You will be responsible for developing T&S Ops cost-related metrics, target setting, and driving relevant initiatives to evolve and improve relevant governance and processes. You will be providing data-driven insights to influence the decisions of peer cross-functional members to drive better cost optimizations and workforce allocations. You will also work with key cross functional teams to continuously improve the cost management processes. Specifically, you will be expected to lead a global team responsible for: - Work closely with the BPO planning team to create annual and quarterly budget PJ/PRs for BPO Content Moderation ensuring high consistency with the actual spending. - Conduct detailed analysis of the budget projections, and present findings and insights to management for review and approval.- Analyze and optimize spending across various operational areas, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.- Collaborate with the Procurement and Commercial & Contract teams on BPO pricing changes and discussions, linking them closely with actual spending to improve pricing and budget accuracy.- Coordinate with the procurement team to address new language requests from B&W stakeholders. Provide detailed context for RFQs and follow up with an analysis of collected quotations to support business decisions.- Provide detailed cost analysis and insights to support decision-making and budget planning and drive initiatives to optimize spending across both outsourcing and in-house operations.- Act as a subject matter specialist on budget and cost, providing advisory and guidance to teammates and XFNs as needed.
Minimum Qualifications- At least 3 years experience in driving operations cost efficiency, preferably for large-scale operations. - Proven ability in handling sensitive data, and demonstrate strong analytical skills and strategic thinking, with a keen sense of responsibility for data integrity.- Experience managing large-scale, complex projects including change management execution.- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication across both technical and non-technical audiences.- Experience working in a matrix organization with the ability to manage stakeholders across functions, countries, and levels of management.
