Early Childhood Educator Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Respond. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, play-based education that makes a real difference in the lives of children.
About the Role
* Act as a positive role model and be responsible for delivering and implementing a high-quality play-based curriculum under the guidance of national quality frameworks Aistear and Síolta.
* Guide, observe, stimulate, and supervise children in a safe and caring environment as part of the childcare team.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote and adhere to the service's ethos and mission of Respond.
* Follow policies and procedures at all times.
* Conduct observations and learning stories for all children.
* Organise materials and resources to reflect children's emerging interests and abilities.
* Implement a play-based curriculum that encourages independence and fosters self-esteem within all children.
* SUPPORT CHILDREN'S EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL AND COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT.
* Assist in providing healthy snacks that meet children's growing needs and reflect variation in culture or dietary needs.
* Develop and support parental involvement strategies to enhance children's learning experiences.
* Evaluate the welfare of children is paramount in accordance with Children First; National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children.
* Promote the service in the local community and wider area to assist and support the quality and sustainability of the service.

Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Early Years Education.
* Strong understanding and experience in Early Childhood Education and working with parents/carers.
