Senior Electronics Engineer - Limerick
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer with expertise in both analog and digital design to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development of brand-new products by providing high-quality solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Main Responsibilities:
* Participate in new and existing product development efforts from concept to implementation.
* Lead a team of electronic engineers to achieve project goals.
* Drive circuit-level hardware design phases, including architecture and design, component selection, schematic entry, board bring-up, and integration of sophisticated printed circuit board and cable assemblies into systems/instruments.
* Effectively work with multi-functional teams, including software, mechanical design, and system engineering, aligning with the project schedule through different phases of the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (Master's desirable) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
* At least 5 years' experience as an Electronics Engineer designing and testing both analog and digital circuitry on sophisticated printed circuit board assemblies.
* Strong digital and analog circuit design background that includes microprocessors, analog circuitry for theoretical analysis circuit level, board level simulation, and experience with building blocks for modular systems.
* Proficient design skills and tools for crafting schematics, board layouts, and simulations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a team environment.
* Strong problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in EMC testing, including Immunity Testing, Capacitive Voltage Emissions, Current Probe Emissions, ESD Testing, Transient Testing, Radiated Emissions Testing.
* Cable harness, power management, 3-phase AC systems.
* Experience in AC/DC and DC/DC convertors.
* Experience developing firmware using Communication protocols - I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc in an embedded environment.
