About the Role
The Director/Sr Director EHS & Security will oversee all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security operations for Regeneron's IOPS division in Limerick. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and national environmental regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Drive a strong safety culture, develop policies, programs, and behavioral awareness initiatives.
* Develop policy, programs, direction, and coordinate the activity of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Security teams.
* Report EHS and Security metrics to the Senior Leadership Team.
* Drive organizational development and changes.
* Ensure emergency planning and risk management occur for sites.
* Review and revise compliance documents pertaining to EHS and security issues, including SOPs, plans, and policies.
* Direct, review, and approve regulatory compliance documentation and reports generated by EHS for submission to outside agencies and internal audit groups.
* Coordinate and develop plans and policies related to onsite health and safety, environmental protection, and public safety/security.
* Liaise between the EHS/Security department and other site management groups to resolve safety issues/concerns and communicate EHS/Security policy and assist with its implementation and enforcement.
* Liaise with local and national emergency response and planning organizations.
* Participate in all audits and inspections and coordinate follow-up actions with appropriate agencies or groups.
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a BS degree or higher in a relevant discipline with 10+ years of experience (Director level) or 15+ years of experience (Sr Director level) in a Health and Safety management role in an operational regulated manufacturing facility. This includes supervisory/leadership experience, experience within a regulated environment, and experience interacting with national and local regulatory agencies.
Salary: Estimated salary range €120,000 - €180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
