Who Will You Work With:
Our client is a global leader in the technology and data center industry. As a Product Quality Engineer, you will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure the highest level of product quality. You will be instrumental in building and deploying electronics manufacturing, quality, and testing practices at partner manufacturing facilities.
About the Role:
As a Product Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, driving quality improvements, and resolving issues in mechanical and electrical assembly. You will also develop and implement quality standards and practices to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
This is a 6-month B2B contract based in Dublin, Ireland, with a strong possibility of extension. Please note this is an on-site role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deploy electronics manufacturing, quality, and test practices at partner manufacturing facilities.
* Investigate and resolve quality issues related to mechanical/electrical assembly.
* Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to drive quality improvements.
* Organize and prioritize deliverables across multiple suppliers, internal teams, and customers.
* Coordinate key outputs for major projects and programs.
* Document processes for managing customer and supplier quality issues and escalations.
* Create comprehensive reports on supplier/customer quality issues for internal teams.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in supplier and customer management.
* Strong expertise in creating supplier/customer quality reports.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and perform in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with PLM tools such as Oracle Fusion and Agile is a plus.
