Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and dynamic Account Director to join our team, initially on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you will work closely with our team to help drive comprehensive content and marketing strategies on behalf of some of Ireland’s most well-known brands.
Responsibilities:
1. Understanding clients' business objectives, target audience and industry trends to develop and apply effective content marketing strategies.
2. Overseeing multimedia content development, distribution and repurposing, including video, podcasts, articles, design and social media content.
3. Crafting creative concepts and spearheading creative projects.
4. Conducting regular meetings and check-ins to ensure client satisfaction and identify new opportunities for improvement in relationships and approach.
5. Managing and nurturing direct reports.
6. Managing selected client budgets, aligning costs and resourcing to drive P+L performance ensuring profitability and driving revenue growth.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for all communication and managing expectations across a portfolio of key clients.
8. Developing strong relationships and winning trust at the most senior client levels.
9. Analysing campaign results and providing strategic recommendations to improve performance and optimise ROI.
10. Participating in client pitches (existing and new clients).
11. Nurturing a culture of exemplary client services in the agency, aligned with the company values.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for this role will have:
1. 5+ years of agency experience (marketing related), with a focus on creative content campaigns and account management.
2. Strong account management skills, with experience overseeing a team of account managers and executives, and those in creative fields.
3. Experience developing and delivering content strategies for clients.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
5. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for identifying opportunities and solutions that drive business growth and deliver results.
Please note, this is a full-time, Monday-Friday position. Ability to travel nationwide for overnight client shoots will be required from time to time. This role will initially be fixed-term for maternity cover, however due to Zahra's continuing growth we hope to have scope for this role to become permanent in the future.
