Sales Executive / Capital Equipment – Southern Territory
Our client is a global packaging solutions company seeking a Sales Solutions Executive to join their team. The key responsibilities will be to achieve sales/new business and account management targets as agreed with the Sales Manager. Excellent opportunity for well-experienced solutions sales specialists with a good understanding of packaging/capital equipment. Salary: €55K – €70K all doe plus 10% bonus, car, pension and healthcare.
The Role:
* In conjunction with the Sales Manager, generate and implement an integrated sales strategy to expand and develop the business.
* Report in a timely manner as set out by Sales Manager using reporting structures and tools put in place.
* Target and develop new sales relationships to increase sales volume and maximize profitability.
* Develop Key Account strategy and identify key customers that can be targeted to grow and develop the business.
* Achieve the agreed sales/development plans, winning new business and managing resources to the agreed budget targets.
* Manage sales process including projects to achieve successful payment and customer satisfaction.
* Develop and maintain professional customer relationships to improve the flow of communication, understanding, and increase loyalty to the business.
* Maintain a thorough knowledge of the market and individual market sectors.
* Provide detailed market analysis to support strategic business development.
* Manage the introduction of new customers into the business, ensuring their effective handover to the various functions within the organization.
* Work closely with Projects & Service teams to ensure accurate specifications and capture of customer needs.
* Provide accurate short, medium, and long-term forecasts as necessary to manage the sales activity and support the business planning and development.
* Improve margin and organic growth with existing business.
* Ensure customers operate in accordance with agreed contractual terms.
* Negotiate contractual terms where they do not exist to protect and quantify the basis of the trading relationship.
* Manage customer accounts to agreed credit limits and time scale and follow up on any overdue accounts in conjunction with the credit team.
* Ensure payment is received in full and on time for all goods and services supplied by working closely with the credit team.
The Candidate:
* Strong technical sales experience in capital equipment, for example: (packaging, construction, or agri-equipment).
* Excellent relationship building and solutions sales skills.
* Knowledge of the food industry.
