Jonix Educational Services Jonix Educational Services is a private preschool which provides an individualised service based on best practice for autistic children. Jonix began in 2002 and has developed and grown over the past 23 years to 7 preschool services across Dublin, Meath and Kildare. Job description Position: Lead Behaviour Support Specialist Report to: Director of Services Purpose of job: To develop, devise, and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans(PBSPs), as well as Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) for children attending the services. Main Duties & Responsibilities Completing behaviour assessments and developing PSBPs with best practice. Direct teaching and implementation of PBSPs and IEPs. Reviewing and monitoring data. Conduct appropriate research in academic journals, Continuous Professional Development, recent literature (and other sources were necessary), to ensure the most appropriate evidence-based practices are utilized. Providing appropriate written reports with supporting data on PBSPs and IEPs. Staff Training. Supporting teachers in the daily running of schools and classrooms including but not limited to: general school classroom management, teaching students, assignment of tutors to students, break times for staff, moment-to-moment decisions regarding implementation of goals/plans for students, advice and support for staff. This job requires a high level of physical activity. You will be required to teach across all of the preschools classes. Attend monthly/bi monthly meetings with the director of services, regional manager, behaviour support specialist, and relevant teachers to give feedback and discuss priorities for the next month. Liaising with parents and other professionals as appropriate. Maintain contact and establish a good relationship with parents, teachers, and tutors. Collaborate with the regional managers in order to promote the overall development of the children. Have knowledge of Early Childhood Education and Care National Frameworks Aistear and Siolta. Undertake any other reasonable duties not specified on the job description. Qualifications: Have a Board-Certified Behaviour Analysis credential with relevant applied experience. OR Hold a masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis and at least 2 years working in an applied setting with children or adults with autism/learning differences. Place of Work: Region 1: Jonix South Dublin Region: Dublin 24, Dublin 7, and Naas, Co Kildare. Region 2: Jonix North Dublin Region: Dublin 1, Dublin 5, Dublin15, and Kentstown, Co. Meath. The role is for Region 2. However, flexibility is required in relation to this role. Hours of Work: 8.45-4.15 Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week) Salary: €40,170-€50,000 plus laptop, phone and mileage expenses. Other: Must have a full clean driving licence.
