Brophy Agri is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a contractAgri Retail Sales Assistant.
The successful candidate will support the daily operations of our branch, assisting with customer service, stock management, and sales.
This role is based at our Carlow depot.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Provide excellent customer service, helping farmers and customers with product selection and queries.
Support stock control, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Work closely with the Branch Supervisor to ensure high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation.
Process sales transactions and assist with basic administrative duties.
Promote Brophy Agris products and services, helping to identify customer needs and opportunities for sales.
Follow all health & safety regulations and company procedures.
Assist in any other duties as required to support the team.
Requirements Interest in agriculture or farming experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Basic IT skills.
