Overview
We're National Broadband Ireland and we're delivering the largest telecommunications project that Ireland has ever seen. We're designing, building and operating Ireland's new, high-speed wholesale broadband network under the National Broadband Plan. Our aim is to radically transform the country's broadband landscape through the delivery of quality, affordable high-speed broadband to all parts of Ireland where such services are not available commercially.
The NBI™ network using a combination of State subsidy and commercial investment will deliver high-speed broadband to over 1.1 million people and over 554,000 premises in Ireland. No matter how remote or rural, no town, village or community will be left behind. NBI will be responsible for the management of the new national broadband network for the next 25 years.

Key Objectives / Accountabilities:
NBI is looking for an experienced Business Process Analysts/Designers who wants to jump in head-first and help scale a mission-driven company experiencing rapid growth. You will directly contribute to the expansion by conducting workshops with subject matter experts, process owners and their delegates to map current processes and design improved ones. The documentation prepared by Business Process Analyst (BPA) will form part of an overall Business Process Catalogue maintained by the Business Process Design function at NBI. The BPA will also ensure that processes are correctly adopted and will review them over their lifetime to ensure they remain fit for purpose or suggest improvements. The candidate will have knowledge and experience of business process mapping and business process reengineering. The BPA will review business processes / workflows to determine how they can be improved or automated. The BPA will participate in and lead business process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Documenting as-is processes, challenging the current way of working and suggesting change
2. Documenting to-be processes
3. Managing process change
4. Facilitating process workshops and leading process redesign workshops
5. Monitoring, measuring, and providing feedback on process performance
Knowledge & Experience:
6. 3 years Business Process Analyst background
7. Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt qualified with proven hands-on / practical experience
8. Experience in preparing process diagrams using Lucidchart (
9. Have excellent communication skills with a proven ability to schedule and run workshops and meetings
10. Excellent ambassador for NBI, promoting the organisation and role modelling NBI's values
11. Telecommunications experience and knowledge of ETOM, ITIL and ISO Standards an advantage
