Your tasks and responsibilities:
* Purchase materials to support production and service in line with business needs.
* Maximise the use of ‘Lean supply’ methods to meet delivery and inventory objectives.
* Monitor key metrics in the areas of on-time delivery, inventory, cost, quality, and service to achieve agreed targets with suppliers.
* Lead all significant issue resolution programs with suppliers in conjunction with Engineering and Quality.
Your qualifications and experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (QQI level 8).
* Minimum of 5 years professional experience within Procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
* Experience of dealing with a broad range of supplier organisations across Europe, Asia, and North America.

* You are a team player, capable of building strong and influential relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
* You have a good working knowledge of procurement methods, tools, processes, and reports.
* You are a problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
* You are self-directing, goal-oriented, and able to prioritize your workload.
