The Site Master Scheduler provides the linkage between strategy and the tactical execution required to deliver on the mission of Technical Operations: innovate and implement agile and robust capabilities to rapidly offer an uninterrupted supply of high-quality products to patients in an efficient and compliant manner. Sales & Operations Planning is the primary link between the strategic plan and the tactical plan. This process provides the connection between the desired outcome and the actual outcome. One of the direct outputs of the Sales & Operations Plan is the Production Plan. This plan is the marching order for the Site Master Scheduler.
The Site Master Scheduler must ensure that the sum of the individual items in the Master Schedule matches the Production Plan. Accomplishing this closes the loop between the business plan and the company's daily & weekly activities.
