Overview
The Interim Head of Finance will manage and improve our organization's financial and operational performance and direct our accounting and business operations for the following regions; Singapore, Switzerland, Ireland Canada & United States.
Finance Overview / Responsibilities
Duties will include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, responsibility for publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analysing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.
Your strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency as a Interim-Head of Finance will aid our organization in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.
Responsibilities and tasks of the role includes but are not limited to:
Preparation of annual financial statements.
Preparation of cash flow projections, forecasts and capital expenditure reports.
Preparation of the annual budget.
Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Oversee the preparation and management of balance sheet account reconciliations.
Oversee all tax filings and liaising with tax advisors.
Assist in insurance renewal and costing of same.
Preparation & review of Finance policies & procedures.
Contribute to ongoing improvement of group wide controls and processes.
Assisting in adhoc reports and project work as required.
Managing financial transactions.
Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
Developing plans for financial growth.
Evaluating and managing risk.
Coordinating audit processes.
Overseeing the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
Overseeing the Global Payroll functions for all regions
Responsible for the company databases, finance trackers and PO management
Overseeing the General ledger and bank reconciliations
Business Grants applications
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements
Company expansion opportunities including research
Operations Overview / Responsibilities
Responsibility for the delivery of the global offices operational expenses.
Responsibility for ensuring that business units (Projects, Managed Services, Secondments and Training) are managed, monitored and controlled in an efficient manner, maximising the business benefit from receipt of PO to final invoice.
Responsibility for ensuring that projects / P.O. performance, including monthly % completes and forecasts, is accurately reported in alignment with the milestone dates mandated by the business.
Ownership of the processes, systems, tools and techniques associated with finance.
Responsible for ensuring that there is transparent and easy access to the commercial status and other key performance metrics of the operation at any point in time.
Participate in weekly Senior Management meetings and fortnightly internal Business Development meetings.
End of month cash flow analysis & forward-looking cash flow analysis
People Management
Responsibility for management of global finance support staff.
Work with PDP Global Talent Hiring Managers including the Business Development, Talent Acquisition, CRM, Operations and HR teams to assist in meeting business target and ensure smooth workflow between functions.
Resource Planning, Expenses and Office Management
Future resource demand planning
Manage the global network of Offices and associated costs
Manage and control expenses at each office
