Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager for a leadership role to cover Maternity Leave at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road.
About the Role
This position reports to the Hotel General Manager, with a dotted line to the Group HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategically manage the HR Function including Recruitment, Training, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Employee Health and Wellbeing, Employee Relations.
* Drive Training and Development amongst the staff to foster a culture of learning and development.
* Collaborate with the General Manager in implementing the Hotel's People Strategy.
* Proactive management of IR and ER issues, coaching and mentoring the management team on effective performance management and support within their own teams.
* Maintain employee compliance standards for the hotel, including proper HR Records and documentation.
* Effective payroll and cost management.

Requirements
3 to 5 years in a HR management role in a hotel is desired.
* Proactive by nature and a self-starter.
* 3rd level qualification in HRM, Business or similar.
* CIPD qualification is preferred.
* Experience in driving employee engagement.
* Experience of payroll and cost management.
* Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
* Strong understanding of employment law and related legislation.
